L.J. A. Fulugan

Raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, LJ Fulugan is a first-generation Filipino-Canadian and grad student at the University of Manitoba and University of Winnipeg joint master of arts (history) program in archival studies. Their background is based in sociocultural and critical anthropology, completing their undergraduate via exchange in Aarhus, Denmark. As an undergrad, their projects involved archaeological rematriation, truth-telling and difficult knowledge, and archival research for local histories of harm. LJ produces creative and academic visual-textual work in digital format.


Currently, LJ is a digital archivist at the University of Manitoba Libraries. Their work involves processing the University of Manitoba Archives & Special Collections' digital asset backlog and the use of JSTOR Digital Stewardship Services' flagship Seeklight AI. This site represents a small collection of stuff made public.
